Your images stay on your device

Snugpic processes images entirely in your browser using WebAssembly. Images, file names and results are never sent to us or to anyone else.

Data stored in your browser

Snugpic saves a few items in your browser's local storage so the app remembers them: your settings and presets, your language, and if you buy Pro, your licence key, its activation ID and when it was last checked. A service worker caches the app so it works offline. We use no tracking or advertising cookies. You can delete all of this by clearing site data in your browser.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare, Inc. When you load a page, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the requested address, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Cloudflare acts as our processor. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Purchases

Pro is sold by Polar Software, Inc. as merchant of record. Polar collects the data needed for the purchase, such as name, email, billing address and payment details, and processes it as an independent controller under Polar's privacy policy. We receive order details from Polar, such as your name, email, country and what you bought, to provide Pro and support. We never receive your card details.

Licence checks

When you activate Pro, and about once a day afterwards, your browser sends your licence key, its activation ID and a device label (for example "Chrome · Win32") directly to Polar's licence service. Polar can see your IP address in that request. This is needed to provide the Pro features you paid for.

Legal bases

• Performing our contract with you: licence checks and order handling.
• Our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website: hosting logs.
• Legal obligations: keeping accounting records of sales.

International transfers

Cloudflare and Polar are based in the United States. Transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

How long data is kept

Data in your browser stays until you delete it. Hosting logs are kept by Cloudflare for a short period under its policy. Order records are kept as long as accounting and tax law requires, usually 11 years in Croatia.

Your rights

You can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, restriction of or objection to its processing, and a copy of it in a portable format. Write to support@snugpic.com. You may also complain to the Croatian data protection authority, AZOP, or to the authority in your own country.

Changes

We will update this policy when our processing changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
