Shopify product images, sized and compressed

Shopify recommends 2048×2048 px for product photos so zoom works. Large files slow down uploads and the theme editor; Snugpic delivers that size as WebP in a 100–300 KB range.

Fit mode keeps the whole product visible; switch to cover-and-crop if you want strict squares.

How it works

1

Drop your images

JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF; one or a hundred at once.

2

Pick dimensions and size range

Choose a platform preset or enter width, height and the KB range you need.

3

Download WebP

Every file lands inside the range, correctly sized and named. ZIP, individual or straight to a folder.

Why Snugpic

Size range, not a slider

You say 100–200 KB; the tool finds the quality for each image. A minimum keeps simple images from being over-compressed.

Private by design

Processing happens in your browser with WebAssembly. Nothing is uploaded, so there is no queue, no size cap and no data retention.

Presets that match real platforms

WooCommerce, Shopify, WordPress, Open Graph, Instagram, classifieds. Add your own in Pro.

Frequently asked questions

Does Shopify accept WebP uploads?
Yes. Shopify serves WebP from its CDN anyway, and uploading optimized files keeps your originals light.
Can I keep the aspect ratio?
Yes, that is what the default fit mode does. Images smaller than 2048 px are not upscaled unless you allow it.
