Why 200 KB?
Many forms, portals and CMSs cap uploads at 200 KB, and it is a sensible budget for a hero or product image on a fast page.
Will the image lose quality?
Only as much as needed. Snugpic searches for the highest WebP quality that still lands under 200 KB. If the photo already fits, it is kept at maximum quality.
What if it still does not fit?
If even quality 40 is above the limit, Snugpic shrinks the dimensions just enough and tells you in the status column.
Can I also resize?
